Pack Walks (cont.)

Pack walks are an excellent way to properly socialize your dog. If they are apathetic with other dogs they are given the space they need and yet get the benefits of being a part of the pack. If your dog needs work with social skills the pack is a great way to learn cohesiveness. We have fun and teach dogs how to be respectful to all in the process. Romping, exploring, with 

We hike Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (Friday is a longer day out).
I typically find locations within 30 min of DSM.

Mondays and Wednesdays $30
We hike for about an hour and they are typically out of the house 2-3 hrs.

Fridays (currently full) $45
We hike and learn/ practice skills out in nature for 2+ hr. Typically out of the house approx 3-4hrs. Example of what we'll work on; car thresholds, recall, waiting their turn by listening for their name, leash pressure, impulse control, place work, learning to be calm, following when prompted (especially before heading to our parking spot), etc.

To keep our dogs as healthy as possible I require dogs (and other dogs in the same household) to be at least 7 days past any visits to daycare/boarding homes/facilities and dog parks before attending with us.

*While we do take time to remove burrs and ticks from their fur, we ask that you look them over again to ensure they are free from these pests.  I believe the benefits of getting dogs out in nature far surpass these inconveniences and they are unfortunately a part of the great outdoors.

*Please let me know how I am to enter your home (I am bonded and insured) and how you want me to leave your dog(s).  Keep in mind they may not smell great upon returning from their adventure.  

*If the weather or driving conditions are unsafe we will visit a dog friendly indoor establishment or cancel (crediting a future outing),
